Still have some chocolate chips left so made some cupcakes with my sis. While she was filling the cupcake cases, I realised that we had forgotten to add milk. Anyway, she didn't has milk in her fridge either. Turned out that the cakes were not as smooth as the usual but fortuantely, they didn't peak and cracked either.
After that baking, sis went on to do the pan-fried nian gao with egg using the recipe she found on the Noobcook website. It has been a long time since I last ate homemade pan-fried nian gao with egg. It reminded me of my late mother.
